Traineeships - NCW 2017
Traineeships. Do you think you will need extra help with getting an apprenticeship? Lots of people do. This could be because the job you want is very competitive or you need to improve your maths and English or need support with things like writing a CV, completing application forms or coping with interviews. Or you might not be sure what career you want and would like to do some work experience to test out your ideas.
Traineeships last up to 6 months and are available at colleges and training providers, like SWRAC. They are unpaid but you will gain the skills you need to move on including work experience, improving your maths and English and learning the best way to write a CV and pass an interview.
If you have additional needs or a disability, a Supported Internship could be a good option. They are flexible but include work placements and gaining qualifications. Find out more at: www.gov.uk – search Supported Internships.
