The Routes to Inclusion team have successfully recruited 3 volunteer Digital Champions to support the Bourne Digital project, we are really looking forward to welcoming them to the project and making the most of their expertise!
We are now able to start recruiting for our September 12-week online Digital Confidence-Building Course. We are expecting it to be just as popular as August, so if you are interested in finding out more please get in contact at once to secure a place.
One of the main reasons our course stands out, is the fact we are able to loan laptops and provide mobile data for the duration of the 12-week course, for those that do not own them, and so far, we have had some great feedback based on this. In addition, each client will have plenty of 1:1 support not just from the Bourne Digital Mentors but also from our new volunteer Digital Champions.
Here is a recap of who the course is for and how we can help.
- Live in Bournemouth (BH1-BH11)
- Aged 19+
- Unemployed, and looking for work or underemployed and have the right to live and work in the UK
- Have no or exceptionally low digital skills and no digital device at home*.
*We can support clients who have low digital skills but do have a device, however, priority is given to those without a device.
