Martyn joined the careers service in 1990 gaining a wide range of experience while working in Wiltshire and Norfolk. He joined Dorset Careers Service in 1997 as a Business Manager and was appointed the Connexions Area manager in 2002. During his time in Dorset he has worked tirelessly to develop partnerships with statutory and voluntary organisations and was central to the locality arrangements now in place throughout Dorset Children’s Services.
In his managerial career Martyn has gained a number of management qualifications culminating in the award of the MBA in 2006. He is an accredited EFQM assessor for the British Quality Foundation and regularly conducts assessments in various organisations
