Stephen Prewett has worked in Education for 38 years. Stephen was Head Teacher of The Blandford School for 16 years. In 2001 he became a Seconded Headteacher for Dorset Local Education Authority and in 2003 Stephen became Head of Pupil and School Improvement/ Assistant Director of Education and was actively involved in the audit of IAG and the Connexions Service provided.

Working as Director for Children’s Services for Dorset County Council from 2005 to August 2008 , Stephen worked with Bournemouth and Poole Councils and partner organisations and has significant experience of research into NEETS bringing a valuable insight to the Ansbury board.

Stephen was also a member of the LSC Chief Officer Group for Bournemouth Dorset and Poole and has been Chair of the 14-19 Strategic Partnership and Dorset’s submission for the new diplomas.
